What the desert is like (media review, not official)
One detailed review describes the desert concretely enough to know it isn’t just a recolor:
- Shifting sand and heat make movement harder, and sandstorms disrupt visibility and battlefield control.
- Faster enemies make the already heavy, sluggish castle feel more exposed.
- It names threats like Galloping Fortresses, Walking Hammer Towers, and Mobile Cannons that fire from off-screen.

Boss mechanic
The only officially confirmed boss point is that defeating one grows your castle — no roster, HP, loot table, or “boss spawns on wave X” numbers.
