Wanderburg Weapons and Modules: Confirmed Types
Wanderburg weapons and modules: the officially named cannons, wizard towers and mines, plus more module types mentioned in media reviews.
The officially named weapon/module types are three: cannons, wizard towers, and explosive mines. Note these are the Press Kit’s examples, not a complete list. They’re your modular arsenal — you grow by consuming targets while mounting siege modules to clear enemies and bosses.
What each official example does
- Cannons: the most direct siege output.
- Wizard tower: the magic-side module, listed alongside “arcane machinery”.
- Explosive mines: mines that lay blast damage along your path.
More types mentioned in media reviews (not officially confirmed)
These appear in reviews and reports and give you a sense of how wide the module pool is, but the names and details are not official and may change in Early Access:
- Mortars: high-arcing shells that clear groups and structures over cover.
- Ballistas: high-velocity, to pick off high-priority targets.
- Rams: turn forward momentum into impact damage.
- Mines / droppers: guard the rear against pursuers.
- Repair modules: extend a run, though reviews find them slow.
- Barracks: Rock Paper Shotgun mentions they spawn troops to fight for you.
- Giant hammer: another RPS-mentioned melee weapon.
Don’t take community “best weapon” claims as fact
There is no official weapon list or numbers, and community “best weapon” takes are player testing that can shift with Early Access iteration (0.9.7 Hotfix already out). Use them as reference, not fact.
