Wanderburg Release Date: Early Access Status

Wanderburg entered Steam Early Access on September 8, 2026 and is not a full release yet. The developer expects Early Access to run about 6-12 months, but explicitly says that may change; there’s no 1.0 date.

Why some sites show a different date

Some third-party sites show placeholder dates like “December 31, 2026”. Those are placeholders, not the real date. Trust the Steam store page’s Release Date and the official Steam announcements — the official date has always been September 8, 2026.

What Early Access actually means here

The EA build is playable, but content keeps landing and patches are fast (0.9.7 Hotfix already out). Rock Paper Shotgun put it plainly: the core loop is in, but don’t expect a finished game — more is coming and it will be tuned against community feedback over the next six to twelve months. The developer also warns the price may rise as content grows. So “buy now or wait for 1.0” comes down to whether you’re fine playing while it’s still moving.

Open the Steam store page for the Release Date, or the Steam Community’s official announcements. Price, platforms and demo status each have their own page.
